ALAN ALDERSON RECEIVES OUTSTANDING SERVICE AWARD
July 2023 - At the Kansas Bar Association Annual Meeting Alan Alderson received the Outstanding Service Award. This award recognizes service that significantly advances the administration of justice or the goals of the legal profession and/or the Kansas Bar Association.
Keegan McELROY receives outstanding young LAWYER
April 2023 - Keegan McElroy received the Outstanding Young Lawyer award at the Topeka Bar Association’s Annual Meeting. This awarded is presented to recognize the outstanding efforts of a Young Lawyer member of the Topeka Bar Association who has rendered meritorious service to the legal profession, the community, or the Topeka Bar Association.
Keegan McELROY selected for 2023 leadership greater topeka class
December 2022 - Keegan McElroy was selected to partake in the 2023 Leadership Greater Topeka Class. Founded in 1984, Leadership Greater Topeka, a Greater Topeka Partnership program, identifies aspiring and established leadership from the community to participate in an annual leadership training course.
Class members attend a retreat and eight day-long sessions that begin in January and continue through May. During these classes they will learn about challenges facing Topeka and Shawnee County and how they can work to influence important community issues.
KEEGAN MCELROY NAMED TOPEKA TOP 20 UNDER 40 HONOREE
August 2021 - Associate attorney, Keegan McElroy, was selected as a Topeka’s Top “20 Under 40” honoree. This award honors members of the Topeka/Shawnee County Community for their commitment and contributions both professionally and personally. Each spring, community members and leaders nominate individuals who will be over the age of 18 but under the age of 40 as of May 31st. Nominees are sent an invitation to formally apply for the honor. Each year the program receives more than 200 nominations and over 100 applications. A selection committee of more than 20 Topeka community leaders spends countless hours reviewing every submission and selecting the "top 20.”

November 2020 - our very own Bob Alderson was posthumously awarded the Honorable E. Netwon Vickers Professionalism Award and the Past President's Award for his appreciation for dedicated service to the legal community and the Topeka Bar Association.
Bob's wife, Ruth Alderson, and brother, Alan Alderson, were able to accept the awards on Bob's behalf.
ALAN ALDERSON RECEIVES Warren S. Shaw Distinguished Service Award
April 2019 - Alan Alderson receives the Warren S. Shaw Distinguished Service Award from the Topeka Bar Association. This award recognizes a lawyer or judge for exemplary service to the legal profession or the Topeka Bar Association. Alan has devoted countless hours and enormous effort to activities that enhance and improve the Topeka Bar. He has served on multiple TBA committees and he works tirelessly to elevate and improve the practice of family law.
